The singer, songwriter, guitarist, and Gibson brand ambassador Jared James Nichols released his self-titled third album on 1/13. I have to begin by saying this is one solid album from beginning to end and shows many layers to Nichols. It’s already on our list for Best Albums of 2023! It’s bluesy, it’s grungy and it rocks! He decided on having two album release shows: 1/17 at The Basement East in Nashville, TN and 1/19 at The Peppermint Club in Los Angeles, CA. The Nashville show was opened by Ace Monroe which really got the crowd all loosened up. Nichols has already told everyone via social media that his set would include many including including Lynyrd Skynyrd piano ace Peter Keys, Richie Faulkner of Judas Priest, Zach Myers of Shinedown and YouTube guitar legend Marty Schwartz. Our Photographer/Writer Kris Cagle was beyond stoked to gear up and cover this one for us. It was a packed house and everyone delivered! There was an amazing amount of shredding that went down! Kris was up front for the entire show and captured these amazing pix! These photographs really capture a ton of fun and emotion in them!
